COVID-19: Novel coronavirus, Covid-19, has infected of 1,764 people in the last 24 hours across the country. The number of infected cases reached to 44,608 However, 28 more died at the same time.
Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General (Administration), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), in the regular online health bulletin related to COVID-19 on Satarday, May 29, 2020 at around 2:30 PM, said 10,443 of samples were collected for testing in the last 24 hours and 9,987 samples were tested in 50 labs and identified COVID-19 case in the bodies of 1,764 people, which is highest cases in a single day.
So far, infected cases reached to 44,608. So far, a total of 297,054 samples have been tested.

She also said, 307 more recover from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, total of 9,375, which is 21.02% of the total number of infected cases.
28 more died in the last 24 hours, total death toll reaches 610, which is 1.37% in terms of infected cases. Of them, 18 people died in Dhaka, 7 in Chittagong, 1 in Rangpur, and 2 in Sylhet.
Besides, in the last 24 hours, 479 new people took in isolation, 80 of people released, so far total of 2,890 At present, there are 5,529 of people in isolation.
Total isolation beds of 13284, 6250 in Dhaka city, 7034 outside of Dhaka, ICU of 399, and dialysis of 106. Besides, 700 of beds are underway to ready.
629 of Institutions have been ready to get isolation services to 31991 of people across the country.
Privately, so far 16 institutions have been given permission for RT-PCR testing. 14 of Institutions in Dhaka, 2 in Chittagong and 1 in Bogra, which remained unchanged.
In the last 24 hours, 2,220 new people took in quarantine, total of 282,225 and 2,219 of people released from quarantine, total of 221,949.
Now there are 60,276 quarantine people.
In the last 24 hours, 901 of new people have been screened, total of 700,411 have been screened so far.
The fast-spreading coronavirus has claimed more than 365,051 lives and infected more than 5,931,963 people globally till Thursday afternoon, according to Worldometer.
As many as 2,496,857 people have recovered from Covid-19, which has spread to 213 countries and territories across the world.
