Bangladesh has yet again recorded the Covid-19 cases in a single day 2,381 new positive cases.
Novel coronavirus, Covid-19, has infected of 2,381 people in the last 24 hours across the country. The number of infected cases reached to 49,534 However, 22 more died at the same time.
Test:
Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General (Administration), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), in the regular online health bulletin related to COVID-19 on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at around 2:30 PM, said, in the last 24 hours 11,439 samples were tested in 50 labs and identified COVID-19 case in the bodies of 2,381 people, which is highest cases in a single day.
So far, infected cases reached to 49,534. So far, a total of 320,369 samples have been tested.
Recovery from COVID -19:
She also said, 816 more recover from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, total of 10,597.
Death:
22 more died in the last 24 hours, total death toll reaches 672, which is 1.36% in terms of infected cases. Isolation:
Besides, in the last 24 hours, 449 new people took in isolation, 222 of people released, so far total of 3,238 At present, there are 6,021 of people in isolation.
Medical Amenities:
Total isolation beds of 13284, 6250 in Dhaka city, 7034 outside of Dhaka, ICU of 399, and dialysis of 106. Besides, 700 of beds are underway to ready.
629 of Institutions have been ready to get isolation services to 31991 of people across the country.
Privately, so far 16 institutions have been given permission for RT-PCR testing. 14 of Institutions in Dhaka, 2 in Chittagong and 1 in Bogra, which remained unchanged.
Quarantine:
In the last 24 hours, 2,707 new people took in quarantine, total of 287,879 and 3,552 of people released from quarantine, total of 228,743.
Now there are 59,136 quarantine people.
Screening:
In the last 24 hours, 560 of new people have been screened, total of 702,593 have been screened so far.
The fast-spreading coronavirus has claimed more than 372,657 lives and infected more than 6,203,385 people globally till Thursday afternoon, according to Worldometer.
As many as 2,660,284 people have recovered from Covid-19, which has spread to 213 countries and territories across the world.
