37 people have died from coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said today.
COVID-19 : Bangladesh recorded total 3,240 infected cases and deaths toll 37 in the last 24hrs.
The total number of infected persons in Bangladesh has mounted to 108,775 while the death toll rose to 1,425 as per the latest data by DGHS
The total cases include 63,357 are active cases while at least 43,993 people have been cured of the infection.
The death toll now stands at 1,425 and the death rate at 1.31% in terms of total infected cases, Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General (Administration) of DGHS, said during a briefing.
A total of 599,579 including 14,031 samples have been tested in 59 labs across the country in the last 24 hours, Dr Nasima said.

Meanwhile, 1,048 Covid-19 patients have recovered since yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 43,993, the DGHS official added.

China
Chinese health authorities on Saturday said that 27 new COVID-19 cases were reported with no new deaths and 12 patients were discharged in the last 24hrs.
The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 83,352, total death toll at 4,634, total number of recovered cases to 78,410.
